I just did online check-in for our flight tomorrow out of St. Louis and wondered if these are good boarding positions? We got B10, B11, B12 and B13. I've never flown Southwest and don't quite know what to expect. Thanks!
Those aren't too bad. Low B numbers mean as long as this isn't a flight with alot of continuing passengers that were already on the plane you will probably all be able to sit together just more towards the back of the plane.

I concur that low numbered B passes aren't that bad, but there is a chance you won't get your first choice type of seats. If there are already passengers on the plane, then don't have to leave their seats. Then the business-class load (think like First Class, Club members, etc. on other airlines), followed by the folks with A boarding passes. Families with small children load next, followed by the rest of the alphabet. Unless it's a super full flight, I would guess that you'll be able to find seats together (they just might be at the very back).

Also, pay attention at boarding. I had numbers similar to that for our 6/1 flight, but I didn't hear them call for B boarding. We ended up getting on between the B's and C's I think. We got 3 seats together in the very back row, and DH sat a row up on the other side, so it was okay. But I felt kind of stupid for as much as I worried about checking in at the 24 hour mark and then not even getting in line right.

If you are the originating city, you'll be fine. If this is the case...A1-15 slots are held for business select people. Then A16 on board. Then, SW usually allows families traveling with kids under 4 to board right after the A group (obviously the family has B or C slots!!). Then the Bs board, followed, finally, by the C group.
B10, 11, 12 and 13 aren't bad at all. You will most likely be able to get three of you seated together with the fourth behind, in front, or across the aisle from you.
If you are on a flight that originated someplace else? It will be a bit harder. Some passengers will most likely get off. So that will empty up some slots. But you may very well find it impossible to get three seats together. You may be able to get two people together though....times two.
