1. Pearlcore

Pearls are all the rage this year, based on Pinterest's report. Known among the fashion set as "pearlcore," the trend finds the luminescent orbs on almost anything and everything. You can keep it simple and understated with a chic single-strand pearl necklacefrom Baublebar or, if you really want to go all in, splurge on the chunky Lele Sadoughi pearl headband, which is a celeb and influencerfavorite.

2. Luxury laundry rooms

"I just want to hang out in the laundry room," said no one ever—until 2022, that is. According to Pinterest, searches for luxury laundry rooms have increased 11 times as people revamp their wash and dry stations. While you could upgrade your washing machine or dryer, you can also elevate accents for less, like with a pretty cabinet hamper or a stylish laundry organization system.

3. Nightdresses

See you later, ratty old college T-shirt that doubled as pajamas for a decade. This year, the biggest trend in sleepwear is nightdresses, specifically those made of luxurious silk and satin. You can snag a floor-length number—complete with a sexy slit—from Kim Kardashian's Skims line or opt for a breezy mini-length nightdress from Lilysilk, which is a favorite among celebs Meghan Trainor and Gwyneth Paltrow.

4. Curved sofas

Pinterest says that in the world of home decor for the months ahead, it's all about curves. One of the main places we're bringing more roundedness is in our couches. You can find trendy curved sofas in all shapes and sizes—from extra large sectionals to small space-friendly loveseats—at a number of retailers, including Wayfair and Overstock.

5. Biophilic offices

If you haven't heard the word "biophilic" before, it's the concept of bringing the outdoors indoors. Pinterest found that it's a focus of many peoples' interior design in 2022, specifically in the home office. "Millennials are turning to plant-first design solutions this

year to increase their connection to nature and enhance their well-being," Pinterest says. You can take part by snagging a live plant from The Sill (which is one of our favorite plant delivery services) or an artificial alternative from Target.

6. Tiny library rooms

Bring your book club into your home with one of Pinterest's biggest searches right now: tiny library rooms. It conjures up images of floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves filled with rows and rows of colorful books and cozy, oversized armchairs perfect for snuggling up to read in. Recreate such a space wherever you live with a large bookcase—like this ladder one from Wayfair—and a tufted accent chair.

7. Furniture dog beds

If you wish your dog's bed looked less like, well, a dog bed, you're in luck. This year, Pinterest says thatpeople are all about dog beds made from furniture, which will blend right in with your Home Goods-worthy decor. You can shop plenty of handmade options on Etsy, like the farmhouse-chic walnut dog crate or the dog bed that looks like a miniature version of your leather sofa.

8. Trendy watches

Searches for "trendy watches" multiplied six times over the last few months, proving that even though we're all about Apple watches and fitness trackers, we're also going back to old-fashioned timepieces. One of the most popular brands for watches right now is Mvmt, which has both men's and women's watches in a variety of sleek, minimalist styles. If you don't want to give up your Apple watch, you can snag a fancy tortoiseshell bandthat makes it look like a regular watch from Amazon.

9. Tea party aesthetic

Happy hour? More like tea time. Pinterest found that more and more people are searching for "high tea food ideas" and "tea party aesthetic," both of which feel like an evolution of last year's cottagecore craze. Whether you're actually gathering your friends for an afternoon cuppa or just want to channel your inner Brit, an elegant cake stand and a bouquet of beautiful blooms—we love the flower subscription service from The Bouqs Co.—will do.

10. Period care

'Tis the year to care more about your monthly cycle. Period care is up in Pinterest searches, with people looking for period starter kits (which you can buy from Ruby Love) and menstrual cycle charts. One way to show yourself some love during that time of month is to invest in the trendy-right-now period underwear.
