Application for registration and grant of licence is required to be made before 15 days of starting any manufacturing activity in the new factory to the concerned Area Inspector with a set of prescribed documents. The licensee shall renew the licence every year.

The documents pertaining to renewal of factory licence shall be submitted to the office of the jurisdictional Inspector on or before 31 October i.e. 2 months prior to the expiry of the licence issued.
